The Lake Iroquois Recreation District Beach is a great way to spend a summer day. The calm waters of the lake beckon swimmers and those looking to cool off in the hot sun. With more than two hundred feet of beach frontage, there is plenty of room to stretch out and enjoy the refreshing water. The beach includes designated picnic and sunbathing areas, as well as swim-safe floating buoys. Some of the more adventurous visitors may choose to try their hand at paddle boarding or kayaking. Although swimming is a popular activity, visitors to the beach can also take part in fishing. With the lake being stocked with a variety of different species of fish, the opportunities for fishing are abundant.
