January 2021 Status
Happy New Year and thanks for checking on the farm status! We have been busy this winter already with many projects started and some completed including:
- New pressure-treated picnic tables for events
- We have started tapping trees and getting the woods ready for spring and maple sugaring
- Cutting firewood for heating the house as well as maple sugaring for next season.
- Getting ready for another busy, successful Farmers market and festival season here at the farm.
- Scheduling the barn for weddings and special events.
We are excited to work in the barn on building a stage for theatre this spring brought by Vermont Stage in May and June. Also light bars to be installed for theater and a full Barn Opera coming later in the summer.
And certainly last but not least, getting paperwork ready for tax season. Lots of other planning for an exciting summer and fall season here at the farm. We are always working in the present and also the next 2-3 seasons ahead.
